Early Spring in the Innovation lab has brought a mix of activities for our makers.
- Students have been inventing with Makey Makey
- Learning about electronics with Snap Circuits
- Building Sphero powered boats out of cardboard and tape
- Designing catapults out of popsicle sticks (& competing for the most accurate shot)
- Working with Tinkercad to design 3D print projects
- Building a furniture piece out of cardboard (shhhh...its a surprise)
Discovering a world of creating in 3D!
Students are designing 3D objects in Tinkercad which will be printed on our Makerbot printers, and also building objects using 3D pens.

City planners
Students design a city and program their "driverless cars" (Ozobot robots) to navigate around it using visual codes. Ultimately they are challenged to come together and combine their cities creating a larger metropolis. December 2017 |
